The 7 Essential Changes
For years, I have continued living Well With Cancer. I have been extremely blessed to have received a plethora of advice and spiritual encouragement from the many loving and caring people in my life. I had learned about countless methods of treatment and have tried what seems to be all of them. Prescription medications. Reishi mushrooms. Rhino horn. Fucoidon. Papaya leaf. Blue scorpion venom. And many other "medicines”. I suffered through many sleepless nights, especially in the early months when I spent two months on cannabis essential oil (starting on a 20-milligram dose, which increased to 1000 milligrams a day!) I also took experimental therapy which was similar to immunotherapy, but unfortunately the method was not approved by my health insurance. In short, I stood at the edge of life’s abyss, and was forced to stare straight to the bottom while making important decisions for my life. It was during this turmoil that I gradually learned the following 7 important lessons that I want to share with you.
We are living proof. And we want for you to be too.
Although cancer resides in us, we believe that we have the ability to move our bodies to control it, and even to stop it, rather than let it control us. How much power do we have in effectively helping our bodies heal? By researching the abundant information that we have available to us and consulting numerous people, we have been determined to take control of cancer, rather than fear it. And because of the many lawsuits in the past regarding the U.S. health care system, there are a number of us that refuse to place all of the responsibility of treatment onto our doctors, allowing the complications of the U.S. health system to cause us the anxiety that would hinder our healing.
We understood the power and responsibility that we have for our own health. Of course, the diagnosis of cancer would shock any of us to our core. This life-altering news can cause the anxiety and worry that has the ability to debilitate us. For this reason, we often give ownership of our own bodies to the doctors and specialists, which then leads to the dependency upon complex therapies with which our bodies are not familiar. These methods are not completely ineffective, but the effects are usually temporary, also having adverse consequences. These treatments can cloud our blue skies with cancer, bringing focus to our illness, rather than to our healing. Let us focus on the healing.
Cancer is an internal disorder of the body, wherein these dangerous and complex cells grow. Even with today’s innovative science, we have yet to find the cure. To deal with cancer effectively, we strongly feel that we patients need to be in control of our situation. When we decide to be proactive, to take responsibility over our situation, we move to make matters less complicated. Everything must be simplified. We must remain calm and act in wisdom. And we must be willing and open to listen and respond to our bodies. Herein lies our healing.
Let us walk with you on your journey toward healing.
