Herbs and spices can cure cancer?

Herbs and spices can fight cancer. Although these ancient remedies have been used for centuries, they have recently been reiterated by the National Cancer Research Foundation on June 10, 2020, the day recognized as National Herbal and Spice Day.

Herbs and spices are known to have health benefits, especially in the general treatment and prevention of cancer. While many herbs and spices have positive health links, some have a special link to cancer. These ten herbs and spices have been found to reduce a risk of cancer and are a great addition to the diet:

  • Garlic

  • Ginger

  • Lavender

  • Cayenne Pepper

  • Saffron

  • Thyme

It is important to remember that these wondrous herbs and spices are not a substitute for regular screening or checkups, or a substitute for preventive measures like reducing tobacco use.
